All it takes is a differing opinion and a bit of immaturity, then name calling and accusations tend to begin. It's unfortunate and embarrassing, and tends to be something most of us are guilty of. This behavior stems off of distrust, programmed into us by indoctrination, and appears to viewers as narcissism or paranoia.
Let's face it: Not all flat earthers have the entire truth. In Fact, NONE of us have all the facts. This is the main reason this Wiki is call the True Earth Wiki rather than the Flat Earth Wiki - because, it's not about the shape, it's about finding the truth
As you know, many of the things that make up the globe model have been debunked. Now all we want is the truth. We're not willing to listen to the same source for that truth. We're not interested in their new theories and supposed findings and new evidences - when they've been caught lying all along.
We need to realize that we've all made mistakes and sometimes it's how we learn. We've all been indoctrinated with lies, so it's only natural to have false beliefs until we've had time to research and relearn. Unknowingly making a mistake does not necessarily make me a CIA Agent. Repeating the same rhetoric doesn't make me a shill. Truth is a never ending subject.
