Why don't all Flat earthers get along?

I've heard people say and watched people in the chat during live streams wonder why they should believe in the flat earth, when not not all flat earthers believe in the same thing?

If you visit different channels you may see plenty of examples of "infighting" and rivalry between flat earthers. One flerf accuses the other of being a shill or controlled opposition, CIA agents, and so on.

All it takes is a differing opinion and a bit of immaturity, then name calling and accusations tend to begin. It's unfortunate and embarrassing, and tends to be something most of us are guilty of. This behavior stems off of distrust or confirmation bias based on what was programmed into us by indoctrination. This appears to onlookers as narcissism or paranoia.

Let's face it: Not all flat earthers have the entire truth. In Fact, NONE of us have all the facts. This is the main reason this Wiki is call the True Earth Wiki rather than the Flat Earth Wiki - because, it's not about the shape, it's about finding the truth. One of the goals of this wiki is to help bring this community together. It's okay to have different opinions and different theories - unlike modern Science, we just need to be clear on whether it's Fact or theory.

Even globers, physicists, scientists, doctors, and preachers don't all get along! There's multiple theories of how the universe works, there's doctors calling other doctors quacks, and there's hundreds of religions and denominations of religions.

As you know, many of the things that make up the globe model have been debunked. Now all we want is the truth. We're not willing to listen to the same source for that truth. We're not interested in their new theories, supposed findings, and new evidences - when they've been caught lying all along.

We need to realize that we've all made mistakes and sometimes it's how we learn. We've all been indoctrinated with lies, so it's only natural to have some of these false beliefs until we've had time to research and relearn. Unknowingly making a mistake does not necessarily make me a CIA Agent. Repeating the same rhetoric doesn't make me a shill. Truth is a never ending subject. It's when we're done learning do we become dangerous.

Let's just be thankful that there are many who spend time researching, looking for the truth, then sharing that research with us. Even if they are wrong this time around, I think we need to just be patient. If you think this person is wrong, spamming the chat with "You're a shill", "liar", etc. doesn't help. What is helpful is sharing a resource worthy of researching to maybe help them realize a new truth.

Name calling

Grifter

A grifter is a con artist: someone who swindles people out of money through fraud. Grifters might be a pickpocket, a crooked gambler, or a scammer. The word "Grift" may have come from "graft", a slightly older word meaning "to acquire dishonestly."

I had a aunt who donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to a TV evangelist who was "selling" God's blessings (Act now and you'll receive double the blessing, smh 😠). I also have a grandmother who gave away all her savings and even reverse mortgaged her home (also totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars) to be able to send help to an "in need" scammer who's story was he was trying to "deliver" lottery winning (A car and money) to a lottery that she never even entered, meanwhile the scammer fulfilled her loneliness and even called this scammer a son. She got a blessing by helping him with his life and relationships - both financially and in prayer. She even went so far as to yell at relatives who were trying to warn her of this scam.

I've yet to see a flat earther demand payment for "blessings", and yet to find one even asking their viewers for money under threat. Yes, many have mentioned they would appreciate donations, and some even went so far as to tell the viewers that donations are their only means of income and any help will make further content possible.

It seems like being a flat earther, who makes a living with odd business opportunities, selling merchandise, and relying on donations from viewers - is seen as a con artist rather than self employed.

We never called the Rainbow vacuum cleaner guy a grifter or a shill, yet he went from door to door making statements that would inevitably make you feel that buying this vacuum is necessary or a good idea. One thing for sure, the salesman sure needed the sales, it is his livelihood.

If listening to "truthers" provides you with some sort of entertainment or help in life, it's certainly not evil of you to provide support. You have to be the judge if support is a good value, not others.

I guess we can admire people for not having to "work for the man". Do we feel jealous, envious of this person? Is that the motivation for spreading hateful comments about this person? Maybe we just disagree with this person, and having their success rub salt in our proverbial wound.

Even in the legal system there's several stages that must occur before Sentencing. The news broadcasts the arrest and shows many accusations. Almost everyone falls for the trap in participating in spreading hate and labeling. Sometimes these people are found guilty from a Trial, sometimes they are found innocent, yet all the labeling and hate was already spewed out of the NPC's watching TV.

Labeling people and causing division is a reoccurring tactic of the globalist elite through the media and the education system. Let's not participate.

Shill

A Shill is a person paid to endorse a product favorably, while pretending to be impartial.

If you're accusing a content creator of being a shill, Do you have any proof that this content creator is being "paid" to endorse a false model?

Having guests donate is not being "paid" to endorse a false model, it is being gifted money for providing enjoyment or adding some sort of value to the viewer.

Having Video Platforms (like YouTube) pay content creators for the views of their videos is not being "paid" to endorse a model. The video platform simply generates ad revenue which allows them to pay the content creators (no matter what they are endorsing). People outside the "truther" community get the same "payments".

I've yet to find any flat earther, who is provably paid by the government to lie to it's viewers, other than maybe the flat earth society (which is modernly seen as a government ran organization). More than likely, if they are a flat earther, if they are making any money from the video platform or the viewers' donations, the amount is severely limited because of our treasonous government's illegal involvement into making private businesses censor flat earth content. A perfect example of this can be seen here: YouTube: Congress Questions Facebook, YouTube over Censorship (Flat Earth)

So, let's be careful - If we enjoy truth, then maybe we should return the favor and research before we blindly accuse somebody of being a shill. In fact, If you feel somebody is a shill - perhaps you are wrong? Maybe instead of saying anything, just move on. We don't need to be guilty of using a division tactic that is some commonly used by the liars controlling our earth.

CIA Agent

Seriously? Accusing someone of being a CIA agent?

Well, this one is pretty unbelievable, I mean, unless you have some hard evidence - if you're accusing somebody of being a CIA agent, you're just sounding extremely paranoid to a degree of needing some mental help.

I guess it's possible that a CIA agent could be posing as a flat earther, telling some truths and some lies to try to cause division amongst the community. After all, that's what the flat earth society has become. But realistically, even then, to call someone a CIA agent without hard evidence is pretty low.

Again, we should just back off. I'm sure others will figure it out if they're being played by a CIA agent. All you need to do is remember, no matter what - the truth doesn't fear investigation and real science is based observable and repeatable experiments.

Controlled opposition

Controlled opposition is the use of black propaganda and saboteurs who claim to oppose a particular faction but are in fact working for the faction.

Controlled opposition can be as small as a single individual and as big as many large scale organizations. They claim to represent your interests in opposing whatever particular piece of corruption you’re against, but their job is to impede, undermine, slowdown, or ‘lame duck’ (may you do nothing) your efforts.

The flat earth society (which is modernly seen as a government ran organization) might fit this description, however, for the comment content creator - there's little profit in being a controlled opposition as the algorithms of the search engines will shadow ban your content from being viewed if you're even slightly on the side of flat earth.

Points of contention between some flat earthers

Unfortunately until these differences are finally proven, you'll have flat earthers disagree with each other. In the meantime, let's agree to disagree and Not attack each other. We're all in this together trying to find the truth.

Earth's overall shape

Most flat earthers will avoid using the term "Flat Earth" because it has a negative stigma as well as the fact that the earth has mountains and valleys, which aren't flat. A better description is a "topographical plane".

Out of the "topographical plane" flat earthers, there's differences in opinion whether they there is a dome firmament over a limited circular or square plane - or an infinite plane with a flat firmament above.

Meanwhile there's some who claim the earth is donut shaped, however I think they're referring to heavens AND the earth in a donut shaped field or construct, having a plane sliced through the center, and having the "hole" of the donut be the north pole area.

Some state the earth is hollow, not sure what overall shape they're referring to.

A few will claim that the earth is a simulation, and the shape is in the "eye of the beholder".

Some will claim the earth is actually a spheroid, but a stationary one.

Most of these models have the sun, moon and stars circling above us, having the earth stationary like stated in the scriptures and by most ancient civilizations.

[need more information]

24-hour sun

sun and moon circling over the earth

Most flat earthers believe the sun circles over us, and having a 24-hour sun near the antarctic circle would be impossible.

There are some flat earthers that believe the heavens above are "mirrored" and you will certainly see a sun circle over you in the south, as the sun is actually in the north while being mirrored into your perspective in the south.

Some flat earthers will claim that 24-hour daylight might be possible in the south due to a reflection of the sun on the firmament dome, causing a "coffee cup caustic" effect. This effect which would make light appear all around the antarctic circle during certain conditions.

Others claim that it's possible that if a 24-hour sun is witnessed, it might be a "Solar simulator".

Some flat earthers have mentioned there might be two suns. If so, perhaps proper synchronization of the two suns could make it appear that there's a 24-hour sun, depending on where you're located.

There's videos with witnesses that state the sun sets in Antarctica, there's Never a 24-hour sun in Antarctica.

On the 24-hour sun "proof" side, I've only seen several videos which were faked, that claim to show a 24-hour sun in Antarctica.

Clearly, we've got lots to figure out. If we're going to figure this out, freedom of exploration would have made this possible long ago.

Aether Cosmology

According to many scientists in history, aether, also known as the fifth element or quintessence, is the material that fills the region of the universe beyond the "terrestrial sphere".

Some flat earthers are against the idea of there being an aether, stating that the aether is just as bad of a discussion as the globers' dark matter theory. They say aether might as well be magic fairy dust.

According to the wikipedia evidence for the presence of aether was not found in the Michelson–Morley experiment, however, there's historic evidences that not only was Michelson–Morley experiment falsifying the spinning orbiting globe, but contrary to the wikipedia, the experiment actually provided a result that could be interpreted as the existence of an aether.

It's said that Albert Einstein's 1905 "special theory of relativity" could explain all of the experimental results without referring to an aether at all. This eventually led most physicists to conclude that the earlier notion of a luminiferous aether was not a useful concept.

But relativity has run into difficulties of its own. Its failure to explain the behavior of the universe at the smallest scales suggests that some more fundamental theory is waiting to take its place. Einstein’s universe is also plagued by dark forces that his theory cannot cast out.

In an astonishing twist of fate, the key to relativity’s salvation could lie in the aether. Since the early 2000s, a small group of researchers have claimed that this invisible, space-filling substance could have the power to unify physics. Then, in late 2018, two independent groups suggested that the similarity between the aether and the shadowy powers that populate our cosmos may not be mere coincidence. [1]

Upward moving earth

The upward moving earth theory is a theory that explains why things "fall". Like the globe's gravity theory, some flat earthers believe the flat earth is moving through space in an upward vector, so that when you drop an object - it isn't actually falling; rather, the earth is moving up to meet the object.

Currently I am not convinced of an upward moving earth, however I must do more research on this topic. I am not able to provide a full unbiased view into this theory. I have to admit to have actually trolled and accused the Upward earth moving content creators of being part of the flat earth society, which they say, the flat earth society actually claims the earth is stationary.

My current understanding of the earth is that found in the Bible, where there's many references to the earth being fixed and unmovable. Also, that the lack of parallax in the luminaries would be another thing to consider.

More research on my part is needed, and there's plans to build an entire article dedicated to this topic in the future.

Spiritually / Religion

Without a doubt, in all walks of life, there are those who are religious and those who are not. But, it's a bit more complex than just black and white. There's a certain shade of grey that we need to consider as well.

I hear it all the time though, that there's many flat earthers that became believers of the creator through learning "biblical cosmology" and unlearning the heliocentric scientism nonsense that seems it's purpose is to hide God and his beautiful creation from us.

There's a huge list of religious people who've accused some flat earthers as hating Jesus, stating they are definitely going to hell, and further more, they must be controlled opposition if they deny Christ.

I've also heard some flat earthers say there's no way to heaven if you believe in the satanic globe lie! I can't find evidence in the Bible for that one, and tend to think they've gone a bit too far.

I don't want to paint myself as being on the fence here, but I tend to think that people who are looking for the truth are heading the right direction. Even if I feel they haven't yet achieved my idea of a "Godly" person, I have to at least evaluate the content for myself as being somebody who's either for or against God. I'm okay with neutral, but I tend to stop watching content if they mock God or talk trash about other "truthers".

Historically Religion itself has had a bad wrap. There's been so many who have broken the commandment of Thou shall not kill, and yet labeled killing as doing God a favor. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, meanwhile bowing to statues of people like Mary - and labeling her as a holy "Queen of heaven". [2]

The catholic church and the Inquisition for example was a Court of the Catholic Church and the Protestant Church to combat those organizations that did not agree with their teachings. Many people were tortured, burned and beheaded. Meanwhile the Church members call themselves Christians.

It's been said that the Bible has had over 7,000 replacements of God's name and Jesus' real name with Lord. Some scholars argue that there are many verses Added to the Bible, and there's clearly many books removed from the Bible.

Without going into a complete overview of the subject, there's plenty of reasons that researchers might run into questions. Just for sake of argument, perhaps these questions aren't meant to be "hells fire" on their tongue, but legitimate questions that would help them understand the truth.

There's been many religions, and many denominations. If you have problems with Flat earthers that can't even believe the same things, yet you consider yourself religious, then ask yourself, why can't all religions believe the same things?

Truth is a never ending journey. To accuse somebody of not knowing the truth is discouragement. We need to be loving and gently with those who are willing to bury their pride and relearn what they've already been taught.

The two greatest commandments are:

  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
  • Love your neighbor as yourself.

Matthew 7:1
Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Matthew 7:13-14:
13) “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14) But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Life is a Journey, not a destination
