Ships over the Horizon

even the bottom comes back

Where's the horizon?

A once popular proof for the globe model was that when boats sail away, they appear to disappear bottom first. On a flat earth we would continue to see the boat across level water.

If they had ONLY taken perspective and atmos conditions into account they would realize that the objects are STILL there but are too far away for our vision to resolve.

With the help of a modern zoom camera, binoculars or a telescope, we can bring the objects back into view.
