Cosmos/Firmament
The Firmament
The definition of the firmament can be essentially summarized as the arch or vault over the earth and sky that separates the earthly realm from what is beyond.
Merriam-Webster defines the firmament as “the vault or arch of the sky; heavens.”
According to Easton’s Bible Dictionary, from the Vulgate firmamentum, which is used as the translation of the Hebrew raki'a, or raqia. This word means simply "expansion." It denotes the space or expanse like an arch appearing immediately above us. They who rendered raki'a by firmamentum regarded it as a solid body.
Ancient Civilizations
Nearly all Ancient civilizations, shared similar beliefs about the origin and structure of the world. The earliest ideas seem to suggest that the sky was a solid dome, curtain, or heavenly dam, separating the waters of heaven from the earth below.
Biblical References
The firmament is mentioned 15 times in the King James Version of the Bible and refers to the expanse of the heavens above the earth. It is said that the firmament is a dome-shaped expanse of sky separating the upper waters from the lower waters of the earth. God created the firmament on day two of creation, dividing the existing formless mass of waters into layers. On day three, God separated the lower waters and caused dry land to appear.
As part of the cosmic design, the firmament is the formation above the atmosphere of Earth, understood as an immense stable arch. According to Genesis 1:8, God called the firmament Heaven, giving it significance beyond just the border between the earth and beyond.
Genesis 1:7-9
And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
The original Hebrew word "raqiya", translated as “firmament” means expanse, spread out, space, or vault. Newer Bible translations use terms like “an expanse,” “vault," “sky,” and “canopy” in place of "the firmament." In Job 37:18, the skies are described as “hard as a cast metal mirror.” Raqiya is the noun form of the verb "raqa" and literally means a “hammered out sheet”.
In the book of Ezekiel during the prophet's chariot vision, the firmament is described as “the color of an awesome crystal, stretched out over” the heads of the living creatures (Ezekiel 1:22, 23, 25, 26). Ezekiel 10:1 says, “There in the firmament … appeared something like a sapphire stone, having the appearance of the likeness of a throne.” These illustrations of the firmament symbolize the seat of God’s power and sovereignty.
During the flood, God would “open the windows of heaven” to pour down rain on the land as well as blessings on the people of the earth (Genesis 7:11; 2 Kings 7:2; Malachi 3:10).
While a vast expanse of atmospheric space may seem like an empty void to the present-day mind, the firmament was perceived in the Bible as a solid canopy or arch intended to hold up the heavenly objects. This perception helps explain the application of the term “firmament.” The word appears nine times in Genesis 1:6–20 in connection with the creation.
The prophet Daniel depicts the “brightness of the firmament” (Daniel 12:3). In Psalm 19:1, “The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.” Worshippers are encouraged to praise the Lord “in His mighty firmament!” in Psalm 150:1.
Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
The psalmist says God “opened the doors of heaven” to rain down heavenly manna for His people to eat. In Psalm 104:2, God stretched out the heavens “like a curtain.” and the prophet Malachi tells of God’s promise to open “the windows of heaven” and pour out uncontainable blessings of provision (Malachi 3:10)
Genesis 1:6–8
Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. And God called the firmament heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.
There are some scientists who have speculated that before the flood there was a thick sheet of water surrounding the earth up in the atmosphere. It is then possible that the “floodgates of heaven were opened,” at the beginning of the flood, is the collapse of this “hammered out sheet” of water. It is estimated that the sheet of water would have filtered out harmful sun rays and contributed to the longevity of life on earth before the flood.

Government References to the Firmament
It would seem the government is well aware of the firmament, although they desperately attempt to hide and discredit all knowledge of the firmament, they performed several operations to measure the Firmament and created treaties to hide it. It seems they hide all knowledge of the firmament because it directly reveals God's handywork. Based on all the satanic symbology at our nations capital, it seems perfectly clear why they hide this knowledge, they openly hate the creator.
There were several government projects that directly or indirectly involved the firmament. The Antarctic Treaty was established to completely hide the firmament from new nations or individuals interested in exploration, followed by Operation Fishbowl (1962), the bombardment of the firmament to try to break it open and thus get out of the Earth's atmosphere. That wasn't a success so they decided to cover it all up along with the Apollo 11 Hoax orchestrated by the NASA-NAZI-Freemasons.

History
The ancient Hebrews, like all the ancient peoples of the Near East, believed the sky was a solid dome with the Sun, Moon, planets and stars embedded in it. Around the 4th to 3rd centuries BCE the Greeks, under the influence of Aristotle argued that the heavens must be perfect and figured that since a sphere was the perfect geometrical figure, they exchanged the biblical references for a spherical Earth surrounded by solid spheres.
With the help of Jesuits, this spherical Earth became the dominant model in the Classical and Medieval world-view. Copernicus placed the Sun at the center of the system he included an outer sphere that held the stars (and by having the earth rotate daily on its axis it allowed the firmament to be completely stationary).
Tycho Brahe's studies of the nova of 1572 and the Comet of 1577 were the first major challenge to the Copernicus's idea that orbs existed as solid, incorruptible, material objects.
In 1584 Giordano Bruno proposed a cosmology without a firmament: an infinite universe in which the stars are actually suns with their own planetary systems. After Galileo began using a tiny homemade telescope to examine the sky it became harder to argue that the heavens were perfect, as Aristotelian philosophy required, and by 1630 the concept of solid orbs was no longer dominant.
